These pictures won't do this justice, but we went to the coolest restaurant last night: Buena Sera, which is basically a double decker restaurant, with "bunk" tables on top of each other in the most quaint little space. It was so super fun!! Frank thought I was insane when I led us there and asked if he thought we could get all 6 of us (including Ruby without a highchair) in a table up high. But we managed. The girls were so hungry by the time we walked there that they were ready to eat off the floor, but once we got a little pasta in them they were having a good time. Frank was a little dizzy, but all in all we gave it a thumbs up :)
OK, so you sit on top of the people at the bottom table? How do you get up there? If you spill something does it go on their heads? It sure sounds different...
ReplyDeleteYes, you sit on top of other people, but there's a board/roof separating you. You have to climb up these steep stairs with a pole to get up there. It was insane!!! Frank thought I was crazy ;) I think I am! The girls were unsure of what to make of it, but now they want to go back again!
